The show focuses on the last 20 years of his career and Chun’s use of tightly folded clusters of meticulously placed mulberry paper to create richly textured, colorful surfaces and objects that are as multi-faceted as his explorations of Korean history and tradition.

With a career spanning almost 50 years, Chun’s current retrospective is a major milestone in recognizing his influence on culturally authentic modes of expression found in the act producing large scale works from small, disparate elements.

The retrospective runs until the end of September 2016.
