Notes

Lutringer draws inspiration from traditional Japanese architecture, particularly the transparency of windows with wooden latticed frames that filter light and alter the perception of the landscape. While no windows or landscapes are explicitly depicted in these paintings, the artist seeks to evoke their essence. Building on this visual experience, the artist transposes it into a contemporary work that explores transparency through the accumulation of vertical and horizontal lines.
